Mt.Clemens Race Track fan favorite. Norm "Parnelli" Tucker, from 1967 or '68. Not the best of opening days for Norm.
THIS MUST BE THE PICTURE OF THE INCIDENT THAT EARNED MY DAD HIS "UPSIDE DOWN" TROPHY. WE THOUGHT THAT WAS THE COOLEST TROPHY OF ALL THE ONES HE HAD WON!
My brother John got those shots. He thought it was going to be a good shot but we didn't realize how good until we got the slides developed. That was after he came back from Viet Nam, so a lot of the pics he took were a bit blurry because he was still trying to adapt to not having much use of his right arm. It's funny, the third shot he took, the car was sitting still; that one ended up blurry.
