David,

I know you remember when Jimmy Ingram was company pilot for Holman Moody, and I expect you remember me - his daughter, Lynn Ingram. Larry and I were pen pals for years.

Daddy died in 1998, and I imagine at some point he told you about having had his own little racetack in Cheraw in the 50s and 60s. I inherited the property from him - and the damndest thing has happened in the past couple weeks. People are coming out of the woodwork wanting to help restore the track, clean it up, maybe make it run again. He would be thrilled to death - and so am I. This racers reunion site is new to me, but I'm figuring it out and trying to make contact with the people that I know will remember Daddy.

So, it would be lovely to hear from you.

Fondly, and with so many good memories.

Lynn Ingram

David - My Daddy was a die-hard fan of yours.  I even have a race car pillow (of your car), along with a picture of your car on the Talledega Speedway.  I was there as you and Richard Petty battled to cross the finish line in Daytona in 1976.  It was an awesome race!  My Daddy passed away 11/23/10 and would you believe that he kept the items I just mentioned.  He had even purchased an old 1967 Ford Fairlaine like you old car.  My brother has plans to restore it and put it on the road.  You were an awesome racer and we appreciate the years of excitement that you provided for us on the tracks across the country!

David I was just wondering if you remember racing at the Beltline Speedway in Union,S.C. in the 1950's ? Those were the days.
