Guys and Gals that are racing now,save everything you can!Back in 'ought '57,when they closed Peekskill (NY) Stadium'I don't recall anyone saving any of the pictures that were taken of of anybody.I was17 at the time,and was too busy or naieve to realize they were shutting down.One balmy Friday afternoon we made the 30 mile flat-tow up from Yonkers,only to find 6 or 8 cars at the track.The weather was hot and humid all week,and no one had done much work on their racers.Hard to believe that was almost 56 yrs. ago!
